The Australian Government has introduced a new program called Support at Home, which replaced the Home Care Packages program on 1 November 2025. Under this new system, the program is designed to help older Australians live independently at home for longer.
It provides funding for a wide range of services, including personal care, nursing support, household assistance, mobility equipment, and allied health services, all tailored to an individual’s needs. It also supports carers and families by reducing the burden of care and ensuring consistent, reliable access to essential services at home.
